My Self-Summary
His name is Kirma and he’s illiterate. I’m helping him fill this out, but honestly speaking, it’s a complete waste. Besides that, don’t you think his rank is unfairly high? Even though it’s still in the single digits, it’s not as if he wouldn’t be at home in the basement levels. If someone could send my complaints along to the house, I’d appreciate it.
Surviving?
Chasing sticks. Eating absurd quantities of garbage. Fouling up perfectly nice beds. Trampling flowers.
Meat.
Someone skilled at training dogs.

[As she waits for his answer, Tohsaka does two things. The first, and most obvious, is smoothing out her clothes and making sure her socks are still upright and not rolling down. The second is more relevant to their discussion, but not immediately apparent. While Rin is athletic and could easily carry someone around her own size, or even somewhat bigger, without magic... handling Kirma without lugging him around like he's a sack of rice will require magic. It's not that she isn't strong enough, but more like her petite frame would struggle for balance otherwise in the ideal way she'd "fold" someone. As such she begins to circulate magical energy through her limbs to prepare.]

( while falling on his ass isn’t a particularly novel outcome, the idea of being swept off his feet is a new one, difficult though it still is to fathom coming from someone of rin’s stature. as he continues to consider the thought, he feels his cheeks begin to heat up— isn’t it a bit silly, for a grown-ass man to get tossed around by a young woman—
in the end, curiosity wins out above all, especially as the magic itself comes into play. kirma knows nothing of magic and, to a degree, prefers it that way, but there’s a subtle shift in the air that makes his ears perk up. unconsciously, he stands up a little straighter. )
Let’s… go with the sweeping. ( please. ) And tell me if I need to do anything.

[As more magical energy floods her circuits, blue patterns on her limbs begin to glow. Rin approaches Kirma, and stretches out one hand to press to his chest or shoulder (which ever is easier at their height difference). The intent is to guide him back against the nearest wall. Hopefully to be able to use it as a stabilizing prop for when she folds him. Gently.
Gently-ish. But they need to reach that wall first.]

the push isn’t quite so intuitive to follow, in comparison. not that there’s any resistance; his steps backward are obedient, and though her hand is likely closer to his shoulder than his heart, the nervous staccato of his pulse still thrums under her fingers. a contest of physical strength is not something he’s often found himself on the losing end of. the novelty of it was a fun enough idea, but being face to face with what that would actually look like… is a little more unnerving.
but. his back hits plaster and his ears twist back, as if it were an unexpected turn of events. )
— I’d think sweeping would be harder with a wall in the way.
( he’s no expert, though. )

[Her stance shifts, and her knees bend. Rin's arms hook around his legs, curling behind Kirma's thighs, and with a swift upward movement she pulls him up into her hold. A few things happen at once: his weight is lifted and he's tilted so his shoulder blades against the wall are used as a point of propping him up, Kirma's legs are held at Rin's waist, and Rin herself smiles as if all this motion and weight means nothing to her.
Then, shortly after, she shifts her hold on one of his legs to start bending the knee up to his chest. No longer gripping his thighs like logs, but instead cupping her hand to the back of his knee and pressing him to the wall like a recently saved damsel in the steamy portion of a romance novel.]

( — them. the retort is cut off by the sudden loss of connection with the ground, and kirma’s ears fly up in clear shock at being lifted. it’s a bit silly, perhaps. the move had hardly come out of nowhere, but there is a difference between expectation and action, a gap that he hadn’t quite bridged.
surprise aside, he does remember the instructions and doesn’t go limp. it’s possible that he’s overcorrecting a little too far in the opposite direction, though. his body tenses, and as rin progresses in the foldening, it only gets worse, shoulders unconsciously rising from coiling muscle. he isn’t trying to fight against it, and thus it doesn’t amount to much resistance at all. it’s just a clear measure of discomfort, of some kind or another. )
I think, I get the idea?
( which kind it is might be a little more obvious now, with the unintentional lift in his voice that so perfectly mirrors the position they’re in. flustered, he can no longer make eye contact with her smile; one hand comes up to cover his mouth, as if that helps any. it’s… probably a little late to hope this doesn’t awaken anything in him, huh. )
You can— you can put me down. ( pwease )

If I had gone with "pretzel" you might have needed a visit to the Broken Wing.

( spoken as though it were rin doing the favor by coming up here, and as though she had gotten nothing in return for it. as far as exchanges of goods and services go— does this count as the latter, even— this might be the strangest one he's done thus far in the casino. strange, but not terrible. making no move to fight for that personal space, either, his head inclines back towards the kitchen. )
Well. I won't make you do it every time you come by. ( rin would just be a chiropractor, by that point. )
no subject
[She's genuinely shocked that he'd say that after... everything, really. It shows on her face, and she even takes a half-step back away from Kirma.]
Are you expecting me to come back and just use your kitchen like it's a rent-a-stove?
no subject
If it's a business, you'll need to keep doing it, won't you?
( and he shrugs, a little. it's not as if he's getting anything out of it, so if she'd rather cut and run, it's not as though that's an issue either— not once does it occur to him that the lack of benefit on his end might read as suspicious, confusing. such it is, being a dog. )
The fact that you're here at all means you're clearly not opposed to charity. ( so that's not the problem, either. )
no subject
No. I only work transactionally. Charity is for people shameless enough to believe they'll never have any obligation to pay back.
no subject
( his tone is mild, not insulting; it's more akin to the same idle commentary that someone would make about the weather, to point out the state of something that evokes no particular feeling at all. so does his head tilt, giving rin another sweeping look of consideration. )
It's not as though obligations matter much, in a place like this. ( so... ) It's fine.
